Tash and Adele
A BEAUTIFUL, RUSTIC AND INTIMATE REAL WEDDING
After having to rearrange their wedding three times due to Covid-19, Tash and Adele held a beautiful rustic wedding at the priory. With the company of thirty of their closest family and friends, the stunning brides met at the end of the aisle to finally say their vows.
The Blackfriars team were delighted to be a part of this special day and are now excited to be sharing the wonderful photos captured by Kelsie Low Photography.

Why did you choose Blackfriars priory?
It’s a hidden gem! Blackfriars is a stunning venue with so much character. We loved everything about it from the exposed brickwork to the enclosed courtyard. From the moment we made contact with the amazing team at Blackfriars and had a video tour we knew it was the perfect venue for us.
What is your favourite memory from your wedding day?
The moment we first saw each other in the ceremony. It was a challenging set up for the Blackfriars team with two brides, two sets of bridesmaids and one car dropping off but they organised everything perfectly to ensure we didn’t see each other beforehand.
Tell us about your inspiration and styling.
We found various photos of things we liked, created mood boards and colour pallets and then went about sourcing almost all of the decor ourselves which means we now have a lot of the decor dotted around our house giving us flashbacks to our day.
What’s your top piece of advice for planning a wedding.
Give yourself plenty of time! Speak to a number of suppliers and choose those you feel a personal connection with. They are a huge part of the planning process and your day so choose those you think you can work well with. All of our suppliers were incredible and our day was made because of them. But most importantly enjoy it. The day goes so fast that you need to enjoy the planning stage too. Even if you do have to rearrange it three times like us!
