LGBTQ+ wedding at Islington Town Hall in London
This lovely couple of two brides had a beautiful wedding in November at the Islington Town Hall. They found me on Google when searching for LGBTQ+ friendly wedding photographers in London. As an inclusive wedding photographer, I understand how important it is for my couples to feel completely at ease with their wedding suppliers.
Planning your big day is exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. It can be frustrating and draining if you can’t find the right people to help you. This is why when my couples book me to photograph their wedding I support and help them as much as I can. I have many years of experience and feel always excited when my brides or grooms ask me to suggest ideas and recommend suppliers.
The Wedding day
M and S asked me if I was free to photograph their intimate November wedding at Islington Town Hall. They had about 20 guests attending and after the ceremony walked to the nearby Little Bat Bar in Islington Park Street for a drink celebration. The evening, full of happy people and quirky surroundings was spent photographing and chatting to everyone.
I remember very vividly when M and S walked down the beautiful marble staircase of Islington Town Hall as new Mrs and Mrs. Their faces were beaming with happiness. They had matching leather jackets, one had the writing ‘Just’ and the other ‘Married’. They also had identical trainers with their initials.
The short walk from the town hall to the reception venue was an eye-turning experience for many passers-by.
M & S looked stunning, carefree and so happy that it really warmed up my heart to witness so much joy.
